Brave New World

How will a child feel when he opens his eyes in the year 2050? I think life will be very different then.

First of all, in my opinion, medicine will be on such a high level that this child won’t be even born by childbirth but from a test-tube. Mothers will not want to be pregnant for nine months. It will be easier just to “order” a child with seeking features to appease the call of parenthood.

What is more this child will be a product of masses, without his own-identity. It seems to me that child will be no more a miracle of birth, but just another part of furniture. That’s because only adults will be worth of living thanks to their ability to work. The childhood will be an interlude beetween newborn and fully valuable working men.

However infancy will have some good points. In my view children will have everything they could need and even more. Just in case. For instance a prime quality food, which is a problem nowadays. Therefore child won’t know words like “hunger”, “disease”, “death”, etc.

Apart from this children will spend most of their time with others of the same age to maintain human relationship. I believe it will gain a profit in future in a united peaceful community. So there will be no more wars.

In conclusion, whatever the future brings, I believe that children’s lives will certainly be very different in the year 2050.
