Journey to Paris

I think that Paris is so known place that I don’t have to tell you where it is placed. But if there was a person who have never heard about this city (I don’t believe that there is one) I would suggest buying a geographical atlas.
The airport in Paris wasn’t much different than any other I saw in my life, only people was talking in different language. When I was going to my hotel I saw for the first time the Eiffel Tower. It was bigger than I thought.
I spent the rest of the first day resting. When I woke-up the sun has already set, so my friend and I went out for a walk along the city. We saw a lot of nightclubs and discos. When we entered one of them we felt like we were in our home city. Everything was almost the same: music, people, atmosphere. We came back to the hotel early that day because we were going to take a sightseeing tour around the city next day.
In the morning of the second day we visited The Louver (Luwr). There were lots of famous paintings in this beautiful place. Next we went to see the Triumphal Arch. It’s a kind of monument in shape of a gate built for celebration and commemoration of momentous event (I’ve forgotten what was the event so I’ll pass the topic over). After visiting that monument we went to a restaurant for a dinner. We wanted to try something exotic so we ordered frog’s leg (national French meal). It wasn’t so bad so my friend encouraged me to eat a snail, which wasn’t so bad either. After that delicious meal we visited The Notre-Dame Cathedral. We heard the legend of The bell-ringer of Notre-Dame there (the film was better). Next we did something that we won’t forget to the rest of our lives. We climbed the Eiffel Tower (as a mater of fact we took an elevator, but it was as amazing as climbing – I think)When we came out of the elevator we were very excited. The view from the tower was heart-stopping. Everything was so small. The stadium of PSG seamed to be one inch big. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
The third day wasn’t worse. We visited the Disneyland in Paris. It’s one of the biggest amusement parks in Europe. We took almost every possible ride. It was great. To imagine the feeling from Disneyland recall your memory of an ordinary amusement park and multiply it by 10. In the morning of the 4th day we were already on the airport. We said goodbye to the Paris and France at 9 o’clock.
I’m very happy about the journey to Paris. It’s a wonderful place for a tourist like me. It gave me many experiences and memories. It’s worth to visit Paris, although it isn’t cheap. I spent almost 1000PLN in three days.
