Malbork
Poland is full of castles but... In my humble opinion Malbork - also known as Marienburg –is the most spectacular monument in our country. Malbork castle has long and charming history. This huge castle was abode of the Trestlers. There are exciting barracks, churches, stables, special luxury lodgings, storehouses and...primitive toilets. Fortications consist of battlements, towers, gates and stony curtains. That shows that the Convent of Tretlers was powerful country.
Every element of the huge monument has his own special story. We must have a lot of time to see every charms of Malbork.
Malbork has amazing scenery. It is located in strategic area which was perfect for fortress.
Visitors can also enjoy a walk throught the amazing, well-kept grounds, where they will found a lot of flowers. It is good place or rest.
The castle is also popular with admirers of water sports because the Nogat river has attractive feauture. I hope you visit Malbork and it will certainly be memorable.
