Tourism industry. Low-cost airlines.

1.I think that this phrase means that tourism give money, it isalso a business. There are hotels, restaurants and example museums opened in places which are often visited by people. It gives money to people who work there. They raise money because of tourism and travelers. It can be small group of people who provide for their families in this way but very often is the majority of local people example in Zakopane almost all houses have an extra rooms which are purposed for tourists, it gives them money and it is their job. There are different ways to earn money in tourism like example open shops with local goods, restaurants with local cuisine or organize transport for tourists.

2.In my presentation I’m going to focus on the topic of low-cost airlines which are very popular nowadays. There are advantages and disadvantages of this sort of travelling. First of all low-cost airlines offer tickets at affordable prices. This allow less affluent people to travel by plane. Prices are cheaper compared with traditional airlines. Fares at low-cost airlines are fair. What’s more low-cost airlines offer comfortable and fast journey. Flights staff is very polite and helpful. Passengers sometimes can watch TV. Planes are faster than other means of transport like train or bus. On the other hand there also bad sides of low-cost airlines. Firstly, customers have to book tickets month in advance. As the earlier you book the cheaper is price. Additionally you can’t change reservation or return ticket. There is a limited number of tickets on special offer also. These tickets are usually sold out quickly. Low-cost airlines economize on catering so you must pay for drinks or meals on your own. If you lost your luggage they not compensate for it. To sup up I want to say that both, traditional airlines and low-cost airlines have some pluses and minuses. It depend on people what they hope for travelling. I can expect only comfortable travel and someone else can expect cheap price. Not everybody has the same expects.
