Career opportunities for men and woman
The times when woman in Poland pretended to be men when they
wanted to study passed away. However career opportunities for men and women are still not equal. Women working at the same position as man usually earn less and are better qualified.

Not long time ago in the 70s, the Medical Academy had different rules of taking in male and female students. There were 2 border lines: one- lower for men and second- higher for woman. Generally more male students were accepted.
I don’t think that permanent models of sharing duties exist nowadays. Everything depends on the economic situation in a family. In most cases both partners work. When somebody must stay with children it is a person with a lower payment.
More and more often a woman supports family and her partner takes care of children. Recently even men are untitled to take a maternity leave.
Times when woman were only housewives and men give them money for house and their needs are over. Nowadays woman must not only earn their living but also take care of house and the children.
