HomePlugs became popular in 2009. In that year, we sold over 80,000, compared to only 300 the year before. The total number sold in the world in 2009 was over a million. Here’s why they were so successful. Dear Sir/Madam, I bought one of your HomePlugs last month. It’s amazing. I’ve got my home computer and Internet connection in my bedroom but I also have a laptop and like using it in the kitchen when I am cooking. Before I bought the HomePlug, my wi-fi Internet wasn’t very good. The Internet was very slow in the kitchen and often went off completely. I like listening to Internet radio when I cook but the radio kept stopping. It was very annoying. Now, I can use my laptop anywhere in the house and the connection is always quick and never goes off.
