It’s a duty of parents to look after their children in whatever circumstance- discuss.

The problem of childcare is as old as human society. It is obvious for everyone that parents should take care of their children until they can live by themselves. However, there is evidence that this rule is sometimes broken.

A newborn baby is completely dependable on her parents. She is weak, fragile and wouldn’t live even a single day if her mother didn’t look after it. It takes a long time to bring up children. Parents should provide their children food, housing and, above all, they have to love their children. Children must feel they are looked after and that they are loved by their parents. We can see a lot of troubles with young children at school and even in the nursery school. These ill behaving children are often abandoned by their parents. They don’t know what love means because they have never been loved by their parents.
It goes against the grain to leave a newborn baby in a hospital. Young girls sometimes don’t want to look after their babies. They don’t appreciate what a wonderful gift it is to have a baby. It’s a gift from God. If the baby is lucky enough it can be adopted by foster parents who will provide her love and safety.

When children are growing up parents must pay special attention to their children. In adolescence they are likely to foster bad friends eventually leading them to crime. They can take drugs or break the law. They start with petty crime and later on if their parents do nothing or too little to prevent it, they can turn to crime.

Even then if a teenage child is in a detention centre parents should keep in touch with their children. Children must feel someone cares for them. If they are to be rehabilitated the process requires parents’ care for their children.

Parents are the only people you can count on. In most cases parents and children love one another and keep in touch. When parents get older it is natural their children look after their elderly parents. It is their duty but also it is a proof of love. We should love our parents no matter how we feel about them.
