1) I would call the ambulance service for example in case of a traffic accident where people would be injured. I would also do that if I noticed someone collapse and was unable to wake them, especially if they would not be breathing. 2) A good paramedic needs to have the ability to keep calm in emergency situations. He or she cannot panic or be easily deterred. Paramedics also have to be decisive, because in their job action has to be taken quickly.
