The male is colored with yellowish tones oliwkowozielonej cheeks and underside of the body. The female is colored more modest, with a predominance of shades of gray. The presence of areas are often found in gardens and urban parks. It feeds on seeds, flowers, buds, berries, and during the rearing of chicks fed them insects. Builds a nest-shaped bowls in the branches of shrubs. The female lays 2 to 4 eggs which are incubated for 14 days. After hatching the young stay in nest for about 18 days. Draws 2 to 4 broods per year.
