Piotr Snopczyński (56 years old) was a rescuer of The Mountain Rescue Service when he was studying in Physical Exercise Academy in Wrocław. In 1998-2002 he was a vice-president of this organisation. He run his expeditions from the Alps and the Kaukaz Mountains to the Karakorum and the Himalaian Mountains. In the nineties he tried many times to achieve the Mount Everest and The K2. He knows what is the winter like in Himalaian Mountains. He took part in the expedition to Nanga Parbat three years ago. He also knows what is summer like there. In 1993 during the wheather breakdown, he has lost his frostbite toes, just after he had left the Gaszerbrum II peak (8035 m.)
