Born on December 13, 1983 in Ruda Slaska. Has 186 cm tall. Otylia began swimming at age six, and her first coach was Marian Syposz. Currently Otylii coach is Paul Słomiński and when you work with him enjoyed the greatest success. In 2001 she won silver at the World Championships 100 m freestyle and butterfly ME gold in the 200 m butterfly style. A year later, was second on the ME in Berlin for the first 100 m and 200 m butterfly style. 4 August 2002 in the finals of the 200 meters set a world record - 2.05,78. It was thus the first Polish record-World Aquatics Championships. In 2003 she won gold in the 200 m and silver in the 100 meters at the World Championships in Barcelona ;)
