Children wear different costumes on Halloween. Common costumes include: ghosts, skeletons, witches, demons, vampires or less scary police officers, fire fighters, pirates, soldiers, doctors, nurses, animals, princesses, TV and movie characters. Children dressed in costumes go door-to-door and yell: "trick or treat" when the door opens. People give them treats, i.e. candies . Jack-o-lanterns are carved pumpkins, people displayed it outside houses in night. One traditional Halloween game is bobbing for apples. One person at a time has to get an apple from a bucket of water without using any hands! They get it by sinking his or her face into the water and biting into the apple.
