I chose metal style which is very popular in my country. This group of people has very huge quantity. First of all, metal people wear dark and black clothes usually with the logo of the heavy metal band that they like and listen to. They’re characterized by martens which they always wear. Men generally has long black hair. Metalheads have a lot of tattoo or piercings on their body but not all of them have ones. They usually use black make-up , even boys use black eyeliner or eye shadow. Metal style is very similar to gothic by the visual park, however, it is not the same and these two subcultures are very different. This kind of people listen to very hard and strong music. Metal music has a lot of genres. We can mark out for example death metal, heavy metal, black, gothic, symphonic, nu metal and others. One of the most well-known musicians are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple – they also were the first heavy metal bands. Typical instruments that they use are electric and bass guitar, drums, vocals and keyboards. Heavy metal stands out by loud guitars but especially very loud shouting vocals. Sometimes it’s really hard to understand the lyrics which is characterized for this kind of music. Loud shouts above all stands out metal from other genres. They spend their free time on heavy metal bands concerts. They are famous of so called “pogo”. They are interested of occultism and black magic which makes that other people often thinks that they are Satanists but we have to remember that not all of them are. I think they do not have any other “special” ways to spend their free time, they do stuffs which every of us does. 294 słówka.
