"Report of Gliwice" - positive and negative things

Dear Sirs,


The aim of this report is to change the bad sides of Gliwice – a beautiful town in the south of Poland. There are a lot of positive things:
1) in our town a new motorway is being built which is going to reduce a traffic jam in the centre,
2) our town is growing up and there are a lot of renovation and work to improve appearance of old houses,
3) people take care about the nature - there are more trees and parks in the city
4) our town organizes many events for the older and younger people
5) a lot of shops have been opened in the centre.

However, there are several negative things which are connected with street traffic:
1) the big traffic jams on the main roads which go through the town
2) the lorries make noise which everyone cannot stand
3) although the traffic jams make a lot of pollution which could be dangerous in the future.
Summing up, Gliwice is a beautiful town but its negative sides have an unfavourable influence on the town’s appearance. The traffic jam has been hard for a long time, but I think that a new motorway will solve this problem. We hope that it will be a success. But now we are still in the middle of chaos in our town.
